Green Salad with Milk Thistle Oil

Milk thistle (Silybum marianum) is a plant with unique properties, known and used already in antiquity. Thanks to silymarin cleanses and regenerates the liver, and the high level of unsaturated fats contributes to maintaining normal cholesterol level in blood. Milk thistle can be used in our diet both in the form of grains – whole or ground, and oil.
SemCo milk thistle oil cold pressed using traditional method is an unrefined product from Polish milk thistle seed, so that it keeps all active substances. It has a pleasant flavor and aroma, so it is suitable for salads, dressings, potatoes, groats and herring. It keeps its properties only when served cold, so it is not recommended to heat it.

Ingredients:

  • 100 g of spinach
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 camembert cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tablespoons of sunflower seeds
  • 1 pinch of garlic pepper
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of SemCo milk thistle oil

A method of execution:
Hard boil the eggs, cool and peel the shell. Avocado cut in half and hollow with a spoon of peel. Wash and dry spinach leaves. Eggs, avocados and cheese cut into slices. Place spinach leaves, avocado, egg and cheese on the three plates, then sprinkle with sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds, pour the milk thistle oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bon Appetit!
